Neapoli elementary school visit

On the 31^st of May during a school trip about the environment, the elementary school of Neapoli Kozanis visited the facilities of the ISWMS of Western Macedonia. The young visitors watched a video regarding the operation of the MBT and all the different processes the waste goes through and were impressed with the different materials that can be recycled. We also discussed in which ways these materials could be reused. The pupils then described as a consumers what kind of waste they produce and how they could manage it.

The visit from our first pupils from an elementary school, marks the beginning of the collection of children’s drawing for EPADYM’s album “My waste, a treasure”.
